Gentle jackWhen I started acting

“When I started acting, Nollywood was very different. We didn’t have much money, and the cameras were simple. Making movies was hard work.

One day, I was offered a role in “Sakobi: The Snáke Girl.” At first, I was not sure I wanted to do it. The story was unusual, and the pay was small. I thought maybe it wasn’t the right role for me.

But the director, Andy Amenechi, told me, “Gentle Jack, you are the perfect man for this role. You don’t talk much, but you look strông and calm. This character needs you.”

I trusted him and accepted the role.

Filming was tóugh. We worked long hours, sometimes under the hot sun or in bád weather. But I gave it my all.

When the movie came out, people loved it. They called me the “silent wárrior,” and that movie made me famous. It changed my life forever.

Looking back, I’m glad I didn’t say no. Sometimes, the hárdest choices lead to the best rewards.”  Gentle jack
