This little man’s name is LEGEND. He’s 5 years old. His grandmother and uncle were taking turns holding him up on their shoulders during a WHOLE show last year in Cleveland so he could see and I was shocked to see him rapping and singing along with me word for word. I stopped the whole show and asked his name and when he said it was “LEGEND” I knew I had to meet him! After I got off stage I had my people go find him, his grandmother, and uncle and brought them back to meet with me in the Green room, hangout and take some pictures. When they opened the door little man ran to me and gave me a hug. I swear my heart almost melted hahaha. This was one of the many amazing moments I haven’t forgotten since I last went on tour and i’m excited to say we will be making more of these in 4 months as I head back out on the “Lonely Dirt Road” Tour. Sometimes we forget the influence we have on the youth and this night over a year ago was a big reminder for me. Shoutout to all the parents out there who let their kids listen to my music. There’s a lot of influences in this world and one of my main goals has always been to create music that influences the youth and everyone else in a positive direction. The YOUTH are the future. This little guy was a reminder. It’s reasons like this why I pushed to make my upcoming tour ALL AGES! I think there is only 2 venues that aren’t at the moment and i’m still going to war to change that! I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE EVERYONE! Tickets are NOW OFFICIALLY AVAILABLE.
