 Ghana  earned $5.2 billion from gold exports in the first four months of 2025, up 76.4% from the same period last year.


Cocoa earnings also tripled to $1.8 billion, rising from $579 million.


Ghana is Africa’s top gold producer and the world’s second-largest cocoa producer.


It also has its own gold refineries.
